ALLERGIES & SKIN PROBLEMS

The largest organ in the body for both humans and animals is the skin, and like humans, animals can develop a wide variety of skin issues. These issues can be developed genetically from birth or from environmental agents. Dermatological issues can also come from infectious agents, nutritional imbalances, infection agents, trauma or allergic conditions. Skin issues may be contagious being passed from owner to pet or pet to owner. .

COMMON CONDITIONS

Pets can be sensitive to many irritants that can cause distress in your pet. Some breeds of animals are more likely to develop issues than others. We are exposed to a large range of these issues on a daily basis and we are educated and prepared to care for the subtle differences between each condition. If you are concerned about your pet’s quality of life or any conditions they may be having you should schedule an appointment with our office to get your pet examined to provide them with proper care and treatment.
