Doctors

Dr. Kelly Houston

Dr. Houston graduated from Panguitch High School and holds degrees from Brigham Young University, BS and Colorado State University, DVM.  Dr. Houston joined St. George Veterinary Hospital in 1992.

Dr. Justin Gardner

Dr. Gardner graduated from Dixie High School and holds degrees from Dixie State College, AS; Brigham Young University, BS; and Colorado State University, DVM, MBA.  Dr. Gardner joined St. George Veterinary Hospital in 2014.  Spending most of his free time on his family’s ranch, Dr. Gardner has always enjoyed working with animals and is an advocate of 4-H, FFA, and rodeo.  He enjoys all areas of veterinary medicine with particular interests in imaging diagnostics and sports medicine.

Dr. Brent Yardley

Dr. Yardley graduated from Beaver High School and holds degrees from Southern Utah University, BS; Utah State University/Washington State University, DVM.  Dr. Yardley joined St. George Veterinary Hospital in 2017. Dr. Yardley has worked in the veterinary field in many capacities over the years and continues to enjoy helping improve animal health.

Dr. Tanisha Ford

Dr. Tanisha Ford grew up in St. George, Utah. She was active in her local FFA and 4-H programs growing up, and competed around much of the western U.S. in rodeos and barrel racing.

Dr. Ford completed her undergraduate work at Southern Utah University, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a Zoology emphasis and Chemistry minor. She completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Utah State University/Washington State University regional program in May of 2017.

Some of Dr. Ford’s hobbies include riding horses with family and friends, competing in barrel races and ranch sortings with her horse Squirt, playing badminton, camping and watching a good movie.

Dr. Kylie Clarke

Dr. Kylie grew up with horses and joined 4-h, where she found her secret obsession with sheep and a love for the livestock industry. It was then she found her passion for teaching. 

She spent most of her free time in the barn training her animals or coaching others. She graduated vet school from the University of Arizona as part of their inaugural class.  Her interests include surgery, reproduction, and behavior. She has spent time at a shelter working to socialize dogs and providing enrichment.

Dr. Kylie’s corgi, Dandee, knows over 30 tricks and also took part in a research project where she learned how to use a touch screen. She now resides on a small ranch with her fiancé, corgi, a herd of horses, and sheep.
